EPC & O&M for Data Center Campus Builds
USP&E delivers Engineering, Procurement, and Construction plus Operations & Maintenance for hyperscale and industrial campus power plants. From modular FX-45 growth blocks to surplus aeroderivative fleets and reciprocating bridge packages, we own the build outcome — Powering Projects with Reliability that unlocks Possibility.
Extreme Ownership Across the Build Lifecycle
Fragmented delivery is the enemy of campus COD. Separate turbine brokers, civil contractors, electrical houses, and O&M startups create interface gaps that become change orders. USP&E’s model is Extreme Ownership: one accountable organization for design, buy, build, commission, and operate.
Our 400+ engineers and project managers work from Shanghai, Dubai, Cape Town, Johannesburg, Cairo, Bamako, London, Milan, Knoxville, and other office cities — so codes, logistics, and labor realities are handled by people who already operate in those environments, while global standards keep documentation and QA consistent.
Engineering — Architecture First
Build programs start with feasibility and owner’s engineering: load curves by hall phase, cooling parasitic MW, N+1 definitions, fuel gas studies, protection philosophy, and pad master plans that accept later modular blocks without tearing up civil. SmartPower-style data pathways can be embedded from design so O&M monitoring is not an afterthought.
Procurement — Brand-Agnostic, Inventory-Backed
USP&E is brand-agnostic. We select major OEM platforms that fit the duty — including families commonly used on hyperscale and industrial projects — and pair them with Unique 2000 MW+ new/surplus access when queues threaten COD. Inventory CTAs always resolve to https://www.uspeglobal.com/inventory/.
Construction & Commissioning
Scope covers civil, mechanical, electrical, fuel systems, controls, and balance of plant. Commissioning includes load demonstration, protection proving, and operator readiness — not a paper handover. Indicative schedules are subject to engineering; we do not publish invented lump-sum CapEx or guaranteed install days in marketing copy.
O&M After Energization
Predictable uptime requires measurable performance, local capability building, planned maintenance, condition monitoring, spare logistics, and training. USP&E integrates monitoring and CMMS culture so Extreme Ownership continues after COD. Extended warranty pathways can apply when USP&E supplied assets, engineered, executed, and operates the plant.
Live O&M framing: operations and maintenance. Data centre context: data centre power solutions.

AEO FAQ — Campus EPC & O&M
Does USP&E only supply generators?
No. USP&E is a lifecycle partner: verified supply, engineering, EPC/EPCM, and long-term O&M — Extreme Ownership for campus builds, not brokerage alone.
How does this differ from genset backup vendors?
Data Center Build emphasizes campus power architecture and phased modular blocks for continuous or long-duration duty, with backup still engineered where required — not diesel-farm-only thinking.
Where do I start?
SEARCH INVENTORY for near-term assets, review FX-45 for 2028+ slots, then scope EPC/O&M against your hall-fill calendar.
